April Lockhart
April Lockhart born 4 July 1995. She began piano and guitar lessons in the 7th grade, which ignited her interest. When April was 12 She composed her debut single Different. At the age of 14, April was devoted for a long period of her time writing song ideas and practicing her music. She started writing songs with her dad in NY and LA soon after. April also included additional topics in her track, Take my Hand. These topics were for friends that dealt issues like peer pressure, and disabilities, or even teenage suicidal thinking. Lockhart is a lifestyle and beauty influencer who has a growing number of followers. She is a partner with the popular brand Ilia in partnership, as well as being a specialist in lifestyle. She has a disability that is a component of her persona, however it's not all of the of the picture. Lockhart's profile on Twitter doesn't shy away from her status as disabled, but neither does it make a point of it. What is the message? The message? We are all multifaceted, and that our identity and physical self aren't as they seem. Lockhart said via video that she didn't want to be defined by her handicap. She doesn't want to become a disability advocate who only talks about disability. There are many aspects to Lockhart. The issue doesn't affect my everyday activities. I go about the same way as I always do and have come up with different ways of adapting. Because it's part of who I am and something worthy of discussion. Self-acceptance is a long marathon however Lockhart is an absolute inspiration in this regard. However, she admits having moments when she felt uncomfortable with her appearance and wearing clothing that showed her arms. She wears what she likes and proudly posts pictures of herself in the outfits she picks out on social media. The journey itself is the key thing I don't know that will ever be the end about self-love. This is, however, the case with anyone with doubts. I think it's important to surround yourself with people who can identify and feel your heart.
